in this post i am going to be talking about a chat that we had today from Dean, founder of VNV sounds.

VNV sounds are company that initially started as DJ company, then moved onto more different events like receptions,inaugurations, promotions,weddings etc.

Dean used to DJ for parties and small events around when he realised that he was spending a lot in hiring equipment,then he decided to buy his own. From then he moved into making his business bigger by not just focusing in music performance but adding lighting design jobs and receptions.

At this point he had quiet a few clients,he has worked with Nandos, Emirates stadium's finance department, also private jobs like weddings, Xmas parties , and decoration.


what i learnt from this was that building contacts is very important for a fast development of my business and that also is very important to have a plan for a future, because time travels fast.

On top of that we also spoke about what is happening next week,we are doing an exercise/assignment that involves  everyone in the groups ( in mine i have: Connor,Samuel,Eloise,Elliot)to bring a song on an mp3 format.we will upload tracks into Logic pro and the mash them together with 30 per track.

for this we are going to k226 then on logic we will use the MIDI keyboards to compose a song
